"I think gender expressions shouldn't even be gendered in the first place. I think because there is the idea of what masculine and feminine is, that is what inhibits personal expression. So to me in my ideal society people would just express themselves without worrying if they should fall into a category of masculine or feminine."

“What makes us human is our ability to think and feel, and so if you were to worry about portraying yourself in a label that is prescribed to you by society at the expense of your own mental health, to me that's wrong."

Age: 1999/ 23 this year

Ethnicity: Indian

Gender: Male

Pronouns: He/him

Sexuality: Gay

Kirshann is currently an English literature student studying for his degree. He mentions his interest in literature stems from always finding it interesting to find out about the human condition and the world and how people are represented in different forms. During his free time, he mentions baking as one of his hobbies.

He relates masculinity to the fatherly figure of being a leader and someone who bears the burden of responsibility in terms of a family setting. However, he understands that gender is a construct and that the attributes that associate with the binary genders are intrinsically gender-neutral traits.
